Engineering and construction
Planning and building the AI campus
Planning and building the AI campus, from the first drawing to commissioning.
At a glance
The opportunity
The master plan, the basis of design, the cost estimate and independent technical assurance that turn 200 contiguous coastal acres into a campus ready to build; then the design-build contractor, the construction supply chain and commissioning.
What we expect
Master planners, cost consultants, project managers and owner's or lenders' engineers with AI or hyperscale campuses in their record; contractors, fabricators, fire and security integrators and logistics firms.
What to send
One comparable campus, programme or works: MW designed, built or reviewed, or the value and duration of the works, where, when and your role.
Why this matters to the project
A master planner and a cost consultant are among the first partners the project approaches, and an owner's engineer joins in the first stage. The owner's engineer reports to the project company and its lenders, not to the contractor.
Lenders prefer one accountable design-build contractor with performance guarantees for the halls, and separate packages for the high-voltage and marine works.
Around them, the campus is built by civil, structural and prefabricated construction, by fire, safety, security and building-management systems, and by the logistics, installation, commissioning and maintenance firms that carry it into operation.
Opportunities in this area
Every area is open now. Early conversations are welcome wherever your organisation can contribute.
Civil, structural and prefabricated construction
Civil works, structural steel, prefabricated buildings, specialised flooring, HVAC, insulation, industrial fabrication.
EPC contractors
One accountable design-build contractor with performance guarantees for the halls, and separate packages for high-voltage and marine works.
Fire, safety, security and building management
Fire detection and suppression, surveillance, access control, perimeter security, integrated building management.
Independent engineers
An owner's engineer during development and a lenders' engineer for technical due diligence.
Logistics, installation, commissioning and maintenance
Transport, warehousing, equipment installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance contracts.
Master planners and design consultants
A master plan and a basis of design for a high-density, liquid-cooled campus on the coast, with international peer review.
Project, programme and cost management
Independent project and programme management across the power, marine, civil, connectivity and compute workstreams: integrated scheduling and controls, procurement and contract administration, cost assurance and progress reporting, and an itemised cost estimate that investors and lenders can rely on.
What we ask you to show
The submission starts with your experience: up to three comparable assignments, completed or in operation, with the year, location, your role, the scale in the measure that fits your discipline, the status and a way to verify it. Newer specialist firms are welcome to present documented pilots and the founding team's record, clearly labelled. Then, for each opportunity you choose:
- Civil, structural and prefabricated construction
- Comparable works with value and duration, safety record, workforce and equipment, and certifications.
- EPC contractors
- Data-centre MW constructed, liquid-cooling and electrical packages, turnover and guarantees, safety and quality systems, coastal geotechnical experience, working capital and bonding capacity, and subcontractors.
- Fire, safety, security and building management
- Product range and standards compliance, manufacturing location and capacity, reference installations in data centres or comparable industrial facilities, and service and spares arrangements in Tamil Nadu.
- Independent engineers
- Lenders' technical adviser engagements, data-centre standards experience, schedule and capital cost reviews, cooling and power bankability, and the reliance capacity insurers and lenders require.
- Logistics, installation, commissioning and maintenance
- Comparable works with value and duration, safety record, workforce and equipment, and certifications.
- Master planners and design consultants
- AI or hyperscale capacity designed in MW, site plans, coastal resilience and cyclone or surge design, reliability design methodology, independent validations, and digital design capability.
- Project, programme and cost management
- Data-centre programme size, capital cost reconciliation, bid management, programme management staffing and tools, cost controls, and claims and risk experience.
For manufacturers, contractors and service providers, one comparable supply or project in a sentence is enough at registration: what you supplied or built, where, when and at what scale. The full record is asked for when procurement in your area begins.

The data room
Selected organisations will be invited to a data room with further information.
Selected organisations receive, through the data room, the work package definitions, deliverables and interfaces for their discipline. Paid roles are selected by competitive proposal, with the method and the decision recorded.
Manufacturers, contractors and service providers who register now are known to the project's contractors and the project company when procurement in their area begins. Procurement is a recorded competitive process, run by the party that holds the contract.
